HISTORY
National Council of Women Societies was founded in Nigeria in 1958 with the aim of bringing into being throughout Nigeria a Federation of non-political women's organization to assist women in towns and villages in their important roles as home makers and nation builders. It seeks to create among its members good citizenship. In 2008, National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) USA, was organized in the United States of America. In 2009, it was registered with the State of Colorado in Denver to further the determination of Nigerian women in Diaspora. It was founded with the aim of bringing together all Nigerian women resident in USA and Europe. NCWS USA is a non political, non religious and non profit organization.
