It is the determination of National Council of Women Societies, USA to unite Nigerian women in diaspora in promoting welfare of Nigerian women and children while influencing healthcare policy, based on effective treatment and care, and also educating women towards building a strong nation. It is also prudent that women are encouraged to stand up for their rights in society, and speak against degrading cultural practices towards women in Nigeria. This organization stands to enlighten women's paticipation in politics, and foster cooperation with other national and international bodies with similar aims.
